Fret saw

A mechanical tool that can cut different types of material, wood, iron, plastic, etc. It can make circular cuts and is used as if it was a continuous saw. It can also be considered as a mechanical version of the manual scroll saw. It is made up of a workbench with an electrical motor below and with the help of a connecting rod, generates an alternative movement. The saw is fixed to the connecting rod and is kept in place by a bow, elastic enough to ensure the correct tension of the sawing blade during cutting. There are styles with a seesawing mini-saw fitted to the underneath part of a workbench. The correct saw blade should be used for the type of work and material to be cut.
