Fitting parquet flooring

Parquet flooring is fitted by applying an adhesive to the floor. Starting from a corner, adhesive is applied to the dovetailed strips, and then the next row of strips is affixed. Once they have been affixed any excess adhesive should be removed with a plastic spatula.
