Cast aggregate

This is a type of finish that is made on single layer coverings and that consists in casting the aggregate onto the fresh mortar. Casting is done manually by putting a certain amount of aggregate on the plastering trowel or shovel and throwing it against the facings mortar by giving the tool a shake with a quick twist of the wrist.
