A classic green bronze imitation is obtained by first applying one or two coats of dark green acrylic paint (obtained by mixing green and black). Once dry, we apply a bit of golden paint with a dry artist's brush. When this has dried, a light coat of the dark green paint is roughly applied, allowing the golden colour to show through. The effect can also be achieved by using special paints and dyes to give a bronze-like appearance, depending on the material from which the piece is made.
