Emulsions and base coats

Asphalt emulsions are a dispersion of small particles of asphalt bitumen in water, in conjunction with an anionic-type emulsion agent and with loads. They are used for ground coating of surfaces prior to their treatment with asphalt products. Protection and waterproofing of surfaces is thereby achieved.
