These are perforated, corrugated and curved metallic plates that are used as a support for filling gaps and areas that have suffered a landslide. They work as a permanent formwork during the covering of the tunnel and as reinforcement, as they grip well to concrete. Should the reinforcement not be made, these plates can act as such, as they accept a concrete cover. Each plate covers a useable area of 1 m2. Including the overlaps, and is equipped with spacers whose purpose is to lengthways brace the support.
