A large spherical item of equipment attached to a machine for breaking up paving stones, infrastructures, buildings, walls, etc.
It is usually fixed to a crane via a lifting cable to get it into position and a further control cable that returns it to the machine.
It functions as it is mechanically lifted by the crane cable and moved from its plumb position, forming an angle such that, on sudden release due to gravity, given its great weight, it swings and impacts on the structure to be demolished.
