Test or group of tests that are carried out on a structure (dam, bridge, forge) or surface of a road, to find out the vertical deformations or arrows appearing on applying a static or dynamic load to this. The static loads are applied using pools of water and the dynamic ones using trucks or heavy vehicles. It is measured using equipment such as the deflectometer and benkelman beam.
