These are systems used to conserve food, which maintain the temperature of the chamber in which they are stored at 15ºC, or lower. Cold-producing machines include an evaporator, a refrigeration gas compressor, a condenser and a pipe circuit. The system supplies the condenser of the cold-producing machine with water from the network. The water swaps its cold temperature, warming up as it flows, and the gas liquefies. The exchange of heat is achieved by constructing one copper tube embedded in another. Water flows in one of them, while in the other the refrigerating gas flows; but they never come into contact.
