Marble slabs

Slabs made from marble, a sedimentary or metamorphic rock with a solid and crystalline texture, normally composed of calcite and dolomite with other elements such as quartz, mica, pyrite or graphite, responsible for the different colours of marbles as pure marble is white. They are hard materials that polish well and are not very porous, making them very resistible to harsh weather conditions and making them extremely suitable for exterior coverings, although they are normally used for interior work. Due to their appearance we classify them as streaked, stained, bare, creviced or fossiliferous. The slabs can have various types of finish such as polished, granular, rough or pumiced.
