Laying slabs

There are two techniques for laying slabs, with mortar or adhesive. The first method is the most traditional one and it is used on concrete pavings only. To do this, the mortar is applied over the surface and the slab is settled by knocking on it. In the second, the gripping material is spread over the base going over with a notched trowel and the slab is placed on top by pressing slightly.
